Truman:”sips coffee” so, hows it going?
Lenin:pretty good
Truman: Hey did you hear about that conference that is taking place, you know, the one regarding Germany?
Lenin:Yes, and I was there.
Truman: Oh yeah, how did that go again?
Lenin: Not well, we had many disagreements and argued a lot.
Truman: So, what did we get out of it again?
Lenin: We divided germany and made decisions on Poland.
Truman: OOOOhhhhh, I heard that we split up a jelly doughnut and was a little worried that I had gone insane.
Lenin:”thinks: you are insane” What should we call this conference.
Truman: how about Potsdam and Yalta?
Lenin:but Yalta already happened and you were not there
Truman: Why not? “sounds offended”
Lenin: because John was there.
Truman: Oh well, gotta go lie to the states again, propaganda dont sell itself.
Lenin:very true, very true.
Truman: Peace!, oh but not literally

Yalta and Potsdam

Driving question: What were Yalta and Potsdam
This Document shows how I answered the question what were Yalta and Potsdam by saying what they were in such a way that made it seem like an everyday conversation.
I chose this selection because I felt that I could best explain how I learned about the cold war by using this method.
